宇航员Serena M. Aunon-Chancellor在太空中检查自己的眼睛
Astronaut Serena Auñón-Chancellor examines her eye with a fundoscope aboard the International Space Station with remote support from doctors on the ground. As a member of the Expedition 56/57 crew in 2018, she participated in many onboard experiments in biology, biotechnology, physical science and Earth science aboard the station
Dr. Auñón-Chancellor was selected as a member of the Astronaut Corps in 2009. She is board certified in Internal and Aerospace Medicine. During her time aboard the station, the crew led investigations into new cancer treatment methods and algae growth in space. The crew also installed a new Life Sciences Glovebox, a sealed work area for life science and technology investigations that can accommodate two astronauts. During this, her first flight, she logged in 197 days in space. She currently covers medical issues and on-orbit support in the Astronaut Office.
