NASA astronaut Serena Auñón-Chancellor speaks about her experience on Expeditions 56 and 57 onboard the International Space Station to the students of the Excel Academy Public Charter School, Monday, June 10, 2019 in Washington, DC. Before a rapt audience at the all-girls school, Dr. Auñón-Chancellor talked about the 197 days she spent living and working onboard the space station. She contributed to hundreds of experiments in biology, biotechnology, physical science and Earth science. She is also a medical doctor and started her career with NASA as a flight surgeon in 2006.
